FileVersion

Description:

 baFileVersion returns a string containing the version of a file.

Platforms:

 Windows and Macintosh

Usage:

 Result = baFileVersion( FileName )

Arguments:

String.
FileName is the name of the file to obtain version information of.

Returns:

 String.
Returns the version of the file. If the file doesn't contain version information or doesn't exist, then an empty string is returned.

Examples:

Director:
AcroVer = baFileVersion( "c:\acroread\acroread.exe" )

Authorware:
AcroVer := baFileVersion( "c:\\acroread\\acroread.exe" )
